ok i'm really curious, i wanna know what is the best programers/boxes out there for my truck, i don't wanna start anything between brands i just wanna know whats the best. i want fuel economy is my main concern right now, but i still want the power to be there when i need(want ) it. i'm looking for something with different levels so i can switch it when needed

i also wanna know how the smarty works, been looking at it but do you have to plug it in every time you wanna change the setting??

Yes... Smarty has to be plugged in to make changes. But not a problem for most. Just find your most comfortable setting and leave it... except maybe for a long hwy trip on 'economy'. Excellent first add-on!

Best combo, IMO, is Smarty and TST PM3 (Power Max 3). Your problem will be your tranny. It will need upgrading before the TST box. Probably ok with just Smarty...depending on it's present condition (stock autos vary greatly).

I gained .4 mpg with TST box over just Smarty!
