OK, now I understand that there are trade secrets involved here that people may not want to divulge. BUt what exactly makes a HOT ROD vp44 a hot rod?? Are we talking plungers, pump internals and such or are we talking an electrical tweak?? Getting ready to change out the VP and need some techincal data to determine if it is worth it.

To sum it up simply, they are taking an SO pump and replacing the head and rotor with one from HO. So you basically get the injection pressure of the HO and the larger barrels and plungers from the SO. There is so more details to it, but that is basically what is happening. Industrial Injection builds them for a lot of people, like ATS and some others.

I am currently having an ETH Vp44 hot rodded at Industrial Injection. So they are able to do it to the HO pump as well.
