Hot Rod VP44 and bigger fuel lines

We are thinking of getting a Hot rod VP44. what would bigger fuel lines do for us, the sizes are either .084 or .093. more power or nothing. just wondering. or would a stock pump and bigger fuel lines be better?

Thanks
Cody

From what I've gathered on the larger lines is that the truck will become almost unstreetable. It will lope real bad and won't run right. I'd skip the lines and just do the hot rod VP.

you definetly will get more fuel to the engine, they say it retards the timing but if you got a good timing box then I wouldn't think it would be a big deal. I run the .093 with a stock pump and you can really tell a difference. If you are going to do the lines then also get the .093 connector tubes

my truck ran like crap with the .093 lines with stock crossovers around town---stock vp---if you're strictly racing or sled pulling you could live with it IMO, but for a daily driver my experience says don't do it---

also on the HR VP has anyone had good success with longevity--I know Diesel Dynamics had a couple that lasted, but I've heard many others that haven't ----chris
