What should be next bomb?
I really don't want to blow my engine but I would like just a little more power. With the mods I have now the truck does well and the air/fuel mix looks about right so I'm not sure what would be the next not so expensive step to take. At the track this week I watched a SRT 10 run in the mid 13's. Wouldn't have to get that low but just a little more respectable. My time this week was a slow 14.8 sec. Did change my tires from 265/75's to 285/75's, I believe that had some effect. Thanks for any suggestions!

DonM EDM Mach 3s and a bigger turbo.(KSB1B or the like) (Or Mach 5s, O-Ring head, twins, drag comp, performance VP44
)
Should set you right. Also loosing some weight could help on the dragstrip.

Hey AlpineRam I've been on a diet, hard to loose weight in south Louisiana. Really your right, the runs we made the other night were with the bigger tires and unfortunately close to a full tank of fuel (Wasn't really planning on running that night, was sort of challenged by the SRT10). I would like to go with bigger injectors and turbo but would hate to go as far as o-ring the head. I will look into the cost of the turbo, will need that as my temps are getting pretty high. Thanks for the feed back!

Hey Gene!
Did you notice any change of the shiftpoints with the bigger tires? If you are reving up to redline for some time before it does the upshift you lose a lot of time because the truck defuels. Edge offers a drag comp version that will let your truck fuel up to redline. I think that this may be the ticket for better times because the ECM can't shove the go pedal back for you any more. I think that this should be combined with a turbo at least dodgezilla hybrid size, maybe better do it right and get a bigger one.
Downside with the bigger turbos is that they can get a little laggy and smoking for a daily driver.
For the reprogramming of the comp I'd suggest to talk to edge directly.
For the turbo I'd say it's a good idea to have a chat with PushRod at wildcat- (Vendor and advertiser on this site- I've got very good experience with him)
For the next injectors I'd say that EDMs are the way to go- good low end torque, reasonable temperatures and excellent quality.
