next bomb questions/help comments

this last summer did alot of upgrading on clutch and steering and now ball joints etc. now on to the engine. with what I have I'm on the fence on cam's I have been waiting for a helix 2 to come back on line. and I know there are a few (alot) with hamilton's out there. just wondering with what I have on my truck if this should be the next upgrade that and springs. I would like to eventually end up with mach 6's but by doing a cam how much better/all around driveability this will give me with a better power ramp. I have a bigger single. just wondering if. what cam???? also with mach 6's will I need to put another turbo when I do this. will I be over fueled with just a single.
thanks.

Many have stated that putting a cam in is similar to having the head ported and polished. I can't tell you what the difference was in my case as almost everything was done at the same time, so hard to tell which components contributed what. You can run Mach 6's with a single provided you don't tow too heavy, but they will probably be smokey around town I would guess. I ran Mach 4's when I had a single and didn't put the 6's in until the twins were installed.

IMO, Cam is a big plus for automatics...not so necessary on a manual tranny!
You can control your rpm's...we can't,

No benefit to Mach 6's till you get an SO VP-44!

So a cam on a manual your saying is not going to help at all. I would like to turn 3k to 3600rpm with a smoother line. I need springs I know. The problem with the vp is I here so much hype on this one to that one. Or that to just do the SO but there are con’s on doing this. I know rip at source has a SHO VP just don’t know the reliability on these.
