I asked the sales rep at the dodge dealer and she didn't have any Idea. For example I am wanting to put on the DTT transmission torque converter and valve body, performance airfilter, and a engine preluber. would those void the warrenty? <br>This site has helped me out a lot, thanks for the help guys.

 

It's going to depend on the dealer.<br>Some are &quot;BOMB&quot; (mod) friendly, others will void your warranty for changing to a K&amp;N air filter.<br>It's probably wise to at least talk to some others in your area to see what experience others have had with the local &quot;Dodge Boys&quot; before you drop a wad of cash.<br>

 

Ed's right I would kinda feel out the field, so to speak, and see what the others are doing.

I thought wax would void your &quot;Special Teflon, UV protection, bird poop, acid rain, protecting Paint sealant&quot; warranty.

 

If you add a fueling box and have trouble its just a plug in harness and you can remove it before the truck gets to the *******.

 

If you are worried about voiding your warrenty I would not do anything to the truck. If you are in AK I can give you a run down of the local dealers as to what I know.<br><br>I sent you a pm...check your box.

 

Ususally gauges will spark the dealer to start looking around. As for internals if you mess with the tranny u will void it! U should be able to get away with a scotty 2 or somthing u can pull off easily for service. I would recommend at the very least a Fuel pressure gauge.

Depends on if it is MOPAR or not too.



You wanna play be prepared to pay even if the dealer says no problemo as they can get charged back for a lot of stuff now. The dealer should not get stuck with that cost.
Thats just my opinion. Be up front and be prepared.

 

I agree with Scotty. Also even if your local dealer says ok, who knows where in the world you might be when she needs some attention from a dealer. If you can't accept that you are very likely to be your own waranty....don't touch anything.<br><br>JMHO

 

Yup, even if you find a good Dealer that &quot;looks the other way&quot;,<br>as soon as they get charged back by DC for a couple injection pumps,<br>they might not be so BOMB friendly any more.<br><br><br>phox
