What Im getting ready to do. I have questions.

Im doing some repairs to my 01. Sorry ahead of time if this is long, just want to make sure im doing it right.

1. Installing new vp44
2. Installing new FASS 150/150
3. Timbo APPS sensor
4. Changing all fluids
5. Installing fuel pressure gauge (to prevent any further changing of vp44 hopefully)

QUESTIONS

On the fass do or should I install a drawstraw?
On the fass does it come with 1/2in lines?
On the fp gauge after I install the fass can I still hook up my fp gauge to the schrader valve on the stock lift pump.

Again im sorry for the long post, I will most certainly have more questions, im very thankful for all ya'lls time, responses, and help.

Beau

I would get the fass in tank pickup, i think its easier to install than the draw straw. The fass only comes with 3/8 inch lines, and i dont think you can hook up your guage to the stock lift pump since there wont be any fuel going through it now but the fass system has a port on it for a guage but a lot of guys like to monitor it at the injection pump rather than at the lift pump.

Is the intank pump by fass the hpvp? Where at on the injection pump do I tap in to monitor it from there? What kind of setup do you have? I see you have the 150/150 and the intank one, do I read that right?

the fitting will depond on the fitting you have for your particular guage. give them a call and they can help you out with the specific size. The pick up is a new suction tube that goes in the tank. you drill a hole in the top of the tank and install the new tube that the fass pump will suck fuel through. this is vulcans version. Same thing pretty much. http://www.vulcanperformance.com/ser...sh-8%22/Detail

Go to your local hyd. supply house. They should have Parker fittings with the push lock ends, FASS comes with this hose (Goodyear) i believe. I spliced a T just before the vp, for the Autometer pick-up, workes great. A hose shop will help you out, just tell em what ur doing, cheap too.
