Hey I havnt been on in about 6 months and I have a few questions. Im getting ready to trade my 07 6.7 mega cab in and order an 09 mega cab 6.7 with the 6 speed manual. How are the clutches holding up with the tuners and modules. Is anyone having problems with the clutches holding as soon as you add a module or tuner. I was considering either a edge juice with attitude or maybe just an MP8 as soon as I get it with a dpf delete kit from H&S. Any info on the programmers and the clutches would be well appreciated. Also I plan on putting the set of 20x9 Diamo 8 Karat's off my 07on the new truck with a set of 33 12.50 20 toyo mt's so I want to add some Bushwacker pocket style fender flares like I had on my 07 5.9 but I need some mudflaps to mount to the fender flares. I am looking at a heavy duty rubber flap like Air Hawks or something any suggestions?? Thanks for the help in advance.

 

ide go with the edge/attitude. i believe with that you can turn off the regen and keep the CEL off when you do the H&S.

Are they coming out with the new body style for the 2500 and 3500 in '09? If not I would wait for the new body style and interior, it looks pretty dang nice! Not to mention I bet the ol' 6.7 will have more power.

 

Yeah thats what H&S said that it would clear any codes as long as you waited for it to boot all the way up before you start the truck. There shouldnt be any cel's as long as you wait from what they said. The 09 2500 and 3500's are still exactly the same besides a few option choices. I have seen one of the 09 1500's and im not real fond of it.

 

The 2010 2500 and 3500 will not look the same as the 2009 1500. For 2010 the word is no more Mega-Cab.
