Light comes on at 1/8 tank, 28 gallons to fill, If I go below E like three needle widths, 32.5 gallons to fill. Before these big tires, I've gone over 700 on one tank. I drove non stop from Ogden, UT to a little north of Spokane, WA using a cup for a restroom, and cruise set at 65. Actually made the trip in less time than when I drive it at 80 cause it saves a fuel stop in Butte, MT. I'm driving down to Dallas next week, we'll see how far she can go nonstop, i'll bet with some aired up skinny tires, 800 miles.

I dont trust my gauge for nothin. I go off my mileage, about 300-350 miles I fill up and the gauge is on half. Which it seems to be about right. She will take just shy of 20 gal. at a half of tank. The reason why i dont trust it is because..... When I bought the truck (from a dealer about 250 miles away from my house) I was driving back and the fuel gauge was just under 1/2 tank and I felt it miss a few times looked back and she was puffin blue/white smoke. It died, tried to restart, nothin'. Got out and pounded on the tank sure enough bone dry. No problem I got AAA, But Nextel didnt seem to have any service where i was. So I walked 1.9 miles on a NICE sunny 110 degree day on some county back road, got to a phone called AAA. Got er up on the flat bed and went to put fuel in it. I could hear the lift pump but wasnt getting any fuel in the fuel filter bowl. Just great.!! So another 2 hour drive back to the dealer they replaced the LP with the in tank setup and a new fuel gauge sending unit, while they shacked me up in a hotel with money for pizza and beer Away I went the day after with the high performance in tank LP
