I bought valairs premium organic clutch for my stock 97 to replace the stock one cause it was wore out or thats what my mechanic said but the problem is this **** valair clutch doesnt hold 4th or 5th gear and the truck is completly stock valair hasnt or wont do anything so im lookin for what clutch will do for stock truck but a little better than a stock clutch

I agree. That doesn't sound like Valair's type of customer service.

Yes, very strange. When I had a problem once (ended up being mostly my fault) I was completely taken care of - immediately. I'm also interested to hear what they said and who you talked to because IMO they have some of the best customer service (and products) on the market

I'm assuming your mechanic did the install? How well do you trust him to do the job right?

Valair Said to pull tranny and take pictures send the pictures to them so i paid for that to be done put the tranny back in waited they then said they would send out a new replacement and its been a little over a month now since they said they would send a new one out the truck is completly stock besides a 4inch back exhaust and ams oil air filter other than that nothin pumps never been touched all 4 screws are still in the pump including the one you have to beat a notch into to unscrew and no it doesnt have the notch. I've left this truck alone i play with the other two

I got in contact with dan he fixed everything and i'm really impressed with his customer service never knowin a owner to deal customers and fix the problerm as well as he has and as fast as he is taking care of it Id buy another valair clutch just because of dan and his customer service and making sure customers are happy
