Wow. That was back when I thought mach 6.5's were big injectors. And to just think, I'm contemplating mach 8's now.

Propane injection will add about 70-90 hp on a stock or slightly modified truck. When you are approaching 500 hp from modifications, you obviously are dumping plenty of fuel (larger injectors) and as such the combustion assistance propane fumigation gives can only go so far. Only so much you can cram in the cylinders after all. The timing is usually far advanced on vehicles of this kind (read-stacked boxes etc.) as well. Heat also becomes a concern. Propane can still add around 40-50 horsepower on a big power truck, but you have to be able to adjust it down to do so. It is not meant to be used as nitrous.

Propane is on average around $2 a gallon, so about the same as a gallon of windshield washer fluid. 5 gallons of propane lasts around 500-600 miles and increases the diesel fuel mileage/range.
