what 33X12.50X16.5's to go with?
I'm getting ready to go with a leveling kit and I guess I'll run 33X12.50X16.5's because I have a friend that's gonna sell me a set of 16.5X9.75 American Racing Baja's for $100. They are off of a '96 F-350....My question is will these wheels work on my truck?? I'm pretty sure they will fit.
Second, I was wondering what tires to go with? What is a good 33X12.50X16.5 tire? I want something that looks aggressive and still will get decent mileage. Where is a good place to get tires? Any cheap places on the internet?
Would I be able to run 35's with just the leveling kit? Or should I just stick with the 33's?

Cummer01, I know several guys running around here with 35's under just a leveling kit. If I didn't have the fifth wheel thats the way I'd go. I think 33's will be pushing it as it is for me. I do like the looks of the leveling kit. CJ

You may check my gallery. I have a 2" level kit, 9.75x16.5 wheels with BFG's mud terrain tires.
I have had very good luck with the BFG Mud Terrains. For a mud tire, they last fairly long. Just keep up on the rotation and balancing of them and they will be ok.

I dont think ford and dodge have the same bolt pattern. I ran 33" bfg muddterrains for about 25000 miles and they havn't worn much at all but I put a leveling kit on and they looked tiny so I switched to 35's.

I have put over 20,000 miles on my current set of Super Swamper SSR's. Belted 10 ply radials. They have run really well, and have worn great.
Whatever you choose, rotate frequently and keep them balanced.
Got mine from 4 Wheel Parts.

I run the newer Cooper Discovery A/T's and they are aggressive, look good, handle good, and last A LOT longer than any of my BFG's have. I have always been partial to BFG's, but I am VERY impressed by Cooper Discovery's.
