Finally installed my SCOTTY II today. I hesitated a fraction of a second before drilling that 4.5" hole but, I remained focused and maintained my composure......I love the music that turbo makes now!! Thanks, to all the folks at Wild Cat Diesel.

The Scotty II draws cool air from the cowl area away from the heat of the engine compartment. That is why it sucks CoOooOOool air

The hole is drilled in the cowl area passenger side to allow the Scotty II to slip back into it, thus drawing air from the cowl area.

 

If its a little too loud, you can tweak your cowl area with a couple "dams" & some stuffing. Got some pics on my Photo Gallery.

I tried to order mine LAST time when they were back ordered (and were 199.00) but was told they were B/O and I'd get a phone call when they were avail...no call. I tried to order one again recently (even though the price went up to 209) and again, B/O!!!
Uhhhh, this is driving me nuts! I just hope the **** thing is worth the wait and hopefully they wont be like 219 when I can actuallu get one!
