want more top end!!
over 2200 rpm is just gets a lil weak...the boost doesnt increase anymore..so i know there's no fuel added...there's even lest boot id say so i think its defueling a bit...truck does rev to 2800rpm though then no more....easiest and cheapest way to get more fuel from 2200 to 2800rpm??
GSK's will let my pump rev past 2800rpm correct? but will do nothing for my fueling problem? do i have that about right? so thats why i need the plate right?....i dont want a drastic change i just want the same pulling power at 2600rpm as i get at 2000rpm!...i dont need a major HP increase or anything like that at all

Your trany shifts should shift nearly the same. It is basically an old school hydraulic (valve body) controlled shifter. If you get much higher shift points, well you have overpowered that poor slop (I mean stock) converter and will cause yourself problems with that driving style.
The governor springs are a very nice mod to auto trucks and all the 94-95 trucks.
Fueling in the low, mid and upper rpm is determined by the model fuel plate, plate position and governor lever adjustment.
A stock plate works well to extend your hp range, but doesn't add more power unless you slide it.
I got greedy for power and jumped to a #4. Read last sentence in first paragraph. Been there done that, got a new trany.

a 95 probably won't rev past 3400 or so w/ a 4k kit.

I like the 3 gsk and #4 combo. Bottom end kinda laggy, but I figure some injectors will help that along. If that isn't enough i was thinking some custom grind along the lines of a #10 bottom and #4 top. 10-4 good buddy (sorry, couldn't resist)!
I hope we're not scaring away Mr. T.
I think you will really appreciate any GSK in your truck. I agree with Forest's comment that a 3k is the better approach. The smaller pumps defuel at a lower rpm which is why many opt for the 4k GSK. It will probably start defueling in the the 2,800 rpm with a 3k get which is where you wanted to stop.
