Want to do Injectors&some power module adder.

Well I have a bhaf and an exhaust upgraded 5" system with a resonator.

I would like more power and better fuel mileage.

What fuel injectors can/should I put in and what chip or module can I put in?

I have the Edge Juice w/Attitude on my wifes Excursion but had to send out 2 times for replacement. Is there something different or better? I like the turbo timer and on demand control switching of power while I drive.

Pls let me know what alls expeirnce is and which way I should lean. I'm on a budget but can lay out a few hundred to get better response and monitoring.
Thks

How much are you looking to gain? For injectors, you can get a set of RV275 injectors (roughly 40hp) for around $300. You can also get some Jammer nozzles, which are less than half the price of the full units. Thos range from 60 to 150hp, although many say they are over rate the gains. DEMON on here is running basically is running the same combo I am, sans the Jammr 2's (80 hp), and he made 46 hp less. Take that as you will. On the higher end of the scale are DDP and F1 injectors. Pricey, but guys swear by them. Those go from 60-220+hp.

On the electronic side of things, you can get a cheap used box like the Edge EZ, or Van Aaken, which are 65hp boxes. Programmers like the Smarty add the same amount of hp, but have a few more features, like reading/clearing codes (big plus for the 98-99 trucks), and adjusting tire size. You can step up to the wire tapping boxes like the Edge Comp, Juice, or the TST. Peak with these is 120 hp (although I think the TST Comp goes quite a bit higher). Juice has the obvious advantage of gauges, turbo timer, and whatever other gadgets it has. The comp is just straight power. These ones you can switch on the fly, whereas the EZ, VA and programmers you can't.

If you don't have gauges already, the Juice is gonna be tough to beat. Again, depending on how much power you want, this may be as far as you want to go. If you're doing quite a bit of towing, smaller injectors (RV275's) and a 65hp unit would be a good way to go. Figure out how much you want, and how you're gonna use the truck, and you'll get better suggestions.

Quad is working on a new 24v race box, maybe you can hold out for one of them?

Thks Tate that sums up things real good!

I just want more power at take off and highway passing. Maybe another 100 hp Total would make a difference. I just don't want drone noise and injectors giving me idle problems or other issues. Just some somoother power and maybe better mileage!

RV275 injectors & a Smarty = 100hp & the best driveability you could imagine. My brother has this setup & it is a real pleasure to drive. The RV injectors run $300, Smarty $649 or as I like to call it...Priceless!

sounds good if you say it is a pleaure to drive and has good power compared to stock.

Now should I upgreade the carter LP and go with the FASS or just to the big line kit and relocation kit to handle that power and changes in upgrade?

THks inadvance again!
