I was in my friends truck with the edge the other day and it didn't seem that impressive and the shifts seemed to be hard and the trans seemed to stick until he let off the throttle. I've been leaning towards the diablo because of the excelent fuel mileage with the performance economy turned on. I'm ordering the guages this week so just wondering what you guys think.

What box really depends on your intentions, current and future. No one single modification is the end all/do all. All have pros and cons.

How about some info about what you intend to do with the truck. Are you building a race truck for 1/4 mile, building a sled puller or just want a reliable tow rig for hauling big loads? Are you a HP junky and just love big dyno numbers and want to out do your buddies?

There are plenty of people on this forum who have some very good information and knowledge to help you. The problem is when you get info based on the wrong intentions for the application of your desired vehicles performance.

I need this truck to work as it will be getting a plow this fall also pulls and does alot of highway driving empty. With the 4.10 gears and the auto the thought of a couple more mpg was what lead me to the diablo in the first place. Not looking to destroy my tranny or set land speed records, but I will be putting 20' wheels and 35" tires on so the extra power and the ability to reprogram the speedo was nice too.
