VP problem?
VP problem?
a little background... got gages in march just before i went to texas, found i had a bad lift pump and experienced the dead peddal thing on my way to texas with my superchips tuner installed. i returned the vehicle to stock and took it to the dealer to change the lift pump, which they did, but then my tuner would not work. when i got home, took it to the dealers because i had the 0216 code, the texas dealer erased the same code also. the dealer erased the code and made an appointment to check it out, brought it back a few days later and he didnt do anything because the code didnt come back.
NOW i got my tuner repaired and recieved it yesterday, installed the program and shortly after i get the dead peddal syndrome again on a hard take-off. fuel PSI droped to about 7, if i stay in the throttle it just does nothing, if i back out of it it catches up and goes fine, i checked and have the code back again. the boost still does not go above 20PSI with the tuner installed and everything seems just like before except for a bit more pull on the low end.
so, is this a VP problem, or something with my tuner?
