Will a lift for a v-10 2500 work for my cummins? I might be able to get one 2nd had for 100 bucks and would like to if I it'll work. does anyone know if the springs will be too weak? thanks-cody

 

Yeah the lift should work. The rear springs should be 3" wide, and the coils will swap right in. Is it a front coil lift or a spacer lift?

 

If I have read everything right from the factory lift places, yes, the V10 and the cummins are the same lift kit. They are both rated to handle the weight. But, to be safe and "you may have the chance at calling me a liar ", Call up the company that the lift is from and ask them. But I do believe they are the same. Hell, for a $100.00 if you don't take it, I will and I'll let you know how it works. ;D I am looking at 4" to 5" myself. 8)

 

Yup, everywhere I looked before getting mine had them listed for both the 2500 and 3500, V10 or Cummins.

Like 02DSLDOG said, if in doubt, call the manufacturer.

Lifting is like bombing, 4 inches might sound like a lot now,
but after you've had it for a while it starts looking very small. ;D

Can't beat 100 bucks.

I'd be a bit leary if it isn't a major manufacturer.
Or a Whiplash, I've heard bad things about them.
All show and no go.
(great lifts for show trucks, not ones that actually go offroad)

Rumor has it same lift, sits ~ 1/2" lower with the Cummins.

Rocky Mountain Suspension has 3/4" weld in coil spacers for $32 each if you need 'em. I might have a pair of previously unused never before installed super profundo greatest thing since green nozzle covers spacers for sale if my new custom coils ever show up.

 

I'm going through a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend and he's a big-time offroader so PHOX I think it should be good. I sure hope it works out like you've all said $100 !@#!@#!!! Yea and when I first got my truck I thought it was big now it's TEENY! They are coils, and na I'm not much of a fan of the spacers, but thanks. I HOPE this works out!!!!! Thanks for the info. -Cody
