Looking for input on 4in lift
Looking for input on 4in lift
I had initially said I would go no higher than a level in the front but I can get a pretty good deal on a 4in superlift kit, so of course now I am contemplating it. Does anyone have any experience with this set-up and if so what are your impressions? Besides the kit itself, any recommendations for additional parts to make sure it rides well and doesnt start breaking factory parts (steering components, front end stuff, etc). Feedback appreciated.
if it's a 4" kit it should have all you need (shocks, pitman arm, trac bar bracket, probably upper and lower control arms, etc.) before you install the kit make sure to measure your height difference front to back if you're concerned about getting level. in many trucks the difference can be as much as 3"+ in which case you can get custom spacers from top gun customz in any size you need.
