Help Banks Problem

Hello I have a problem with my Banks 6 gun and speedloader. Banks was of no help to me . The problem is that my boost gauge pegs at 50 psi when i am at W O T in 4 th gear. It will work fine untill I get up till about 40psi then it pegs as I accelerate. After it pegs if you turn the key off and back on the gauage will work untill you go to accelerate.Banks said they get there reading
from the map sensor and it checkes ok and i get no check engine lights or coades. I have had sent the computer back at banks and they sent it back with a clean bill of health.I also checked all the wiring in the truck and can find nothing wrong.I also has replaced the gauage when i thought that it was the problem and it did not doit.I am at a loss and need help.

I'm no expert on Banks by any means, but how do they hook into the factory wiring? Do they wire tap, or have all plug and play connectors? Do they do boost fooling? Does it do it on any level? ( don't know if it is a multiple level unit or not)

it plugs in to the data port correct? i would say it would have to be the map sensor sticking. what you might want to try is running another another gauge you can buy a cheap on at and part place for like 20-30 bucks and just check it against the one that you have.

I think you meant to say another analog guage. This would definately let you know if you have a map sticking.

No it does not pulg in to the data port. it connects seperatly to each of the factory connectors. You unplug the factory connector and plug the banks connector in then the factory back in to the other side. I have also tried another gauge and it also peged it.
