Question Once again...4in lift & 37s HELP!

Ok so i am wanting to run 37s with only a 4inch lift. The thing is i dont want to do any trimming on my fender! i dont care to take the drimmel to any plastic but i dont want my tires to hit the fiberglass body! I was thinking about a fab tech 4.5inch lift with 37x13.50x20 toyos on black xd hosses.....can anyone help me? i hate to put a 4inch lift on my truck then the 37s not fit because i really dont want to run 20s and 35s with a lifted truck....ill just keep it leveled if i have to run that setup... Thanks for any help guys! Post pics if you have em

i guess you can do it as long as your back spacing is close to the stock offset

i know the Kore system with stock rims will work with 37's, but if you back spacing is less then stock, ie, stick out past the fenders, your in trouble

I ran 37s with 4" lift on stock wheels, fit great.
Boz007 runs 37s on H2s with a 4" lift, and I dont think he has any rubbing either.

Im currently running XD Hoss wheels with 5.71" backspacing and they would also work well with 37s, although im only running 35s again at the moment....

I know the hosses are pretty dang close to the stock wheels specs...im kinda worried more about the tire being a 13.50 rather than a 12.50. i dont know if i should bite the bullet and go for it or just be safe and stay leveled with 35s OR go with a 6inch lift and 37s...... decisions. decisions

I have over 4" of lift and I run 20's with 35's because any more tire and I'll be trimmin my truck, but it's because of the wheels I chose. With the correct wheel and backspacing you can get away with 37's. It also depends on what you use your truck for, not too easy getting stuff in and out of a truck with 6" of lift. Yet, it does LOOK cool way up in the air, just limits the use of your box and what you can tow.

Truck does look sweet, but you noticed he said he trimmed the front a bit, I too had to trim the front. Yet he also said he can't turn to full lock without rubbing, so it basically comes down to what you'll use your truck for. With my lift and wheel set up I too could put 37's under it, yet I would be in the same boat with a limited turn radius. I do quite a lot of trailering and when I park I like to be able to swing it around without hearing the rubbing on full lock. If you check around there aren't too many runnin 4.5" of lift with 20's and 37's, the package just doesn't work that well, unless you get the perfect wheel set up. I think you might be 6" in the air to get what you want.

Why do you want a 4in. lift and not a 6in. lift?

Even with 6 in. of lift , 37s will rub without the right wheel tire combo.

Heck , my 37s rubbed the lower plastic valance with 9 in. of lift and 17X10 in wheels I was running.....
