i am planning on eventually adding a couple filters into my fuel system. when i do so, i am planning on doing some re-plumbing to limit the distance of hose between tank/filters/pumps/ etc.

can i re-use the current hose on the pushlok connections without leaks?
or will the diesel-coated inner walls of the hose cause leaks at the connections? the hose is not cheap, so if i can re-use it with peace of mind i would like too.

anyone have real-world experience with this?
