ok, i have the levelin kit on, and 315's, what do you guys have on for shocks, like brand name or what? i've only got el cheapos on for right now because i had just bought the truck when it needed em. so the back still feel good.
now the drivers side front is a different story. it seems to be a lil weak?? could it be something else, give me something to check i'm outta ideas

My driver's side front shock just let go last week. The eye around the lower bushing broke and let the shock just flop around. These shocks were on my truck when I purchased it and I have no idea what brand they are.

After reading many different opinions and experiences on various websites for the last couple of days, for me and my truck it seemed to boil down to Bilstein 5100 vs KYB Monomax, with a slight nod towards the Bilstein. I opted for the Bilsteins and just ordered up a set of 5100s for $288 shipped to my house. Once they are on and I have a few miles on them I will be offering my opinion of them as well.
