Twins or single for DD?

What is the general consensus for a fairly high horse DD that still sees towing like an enclosed race trailer? Also any suggestions on what turbo or turbos for a DIY install for a 98 12V?

Thanks

HX35 with either HT3B or S400 for a cheaper home build setup. You will need twins to tow any decent weight on a turned up 12v.

The only downside to twins imo is cost and complexity. Otherwise, it's no contest.

Yeah, with our lousy breathing heads, and not being able to turn the fuel down, if you want high horse, and towable 12v twins are pretty much a must. And even then it will be a comprimise. Just ask Txdiesel007 and signature600, they have both been down that road...

I wish I could afford twins and some bigger sticks... I don't think anyone "dreams" of singles, twins are the way to go.

Trx - Im in the same situation, need more fuel on my 12v, so I need a little more air. I believe the HX35 on top of a HT3B or an S400 is a very tried and trued combo. I think the S400 is slightly simpler due to the rotation of the turbo, maybe someone can verify that.

Im with Hohn on this one but when i had a single 62 i did have the hood on my truck shut a lot more .Not that i would open it just to look now and then its that things happen with twins that you dont half to deal with with a single .
