twin setup questions?

I've got a 2002 2500 with mach 4's, tst comp, smarty, edge ez, firerings and headstuds, fass pump, 4in turbo back, phat shaft 62, and a 3250 south bend clutch. I dynoed 522 with 1300 ftlbs and im thinking about finally building a twin setup for it but im not too sure what kind of turbo i should use for my big charger. Ive heard a full size b2 would work good and use my 62 for the small charger but what i dont know is how big a full size b2 really is. any guidance from you guys would be greatly appreciated i would love to have a setup that would have me around the low 700's but would still be able to drive it every day and pull my boat. any ideas?

Im not sure about B2 size either, But I would think like a s475 would work real good over a 62. Maybe a bit bigger like s478?
Not sure of other s400 inducer sizes.

Im sure someone else will chime in.

need more fuel for that power goal....

an S475 is a very standard primary charger in conjunction with the 62mm frame S300's

As others have mentioned, use a S475 or a S480. The difference in price is around $400 between the two with the S475 being cheaper. I run a 64/71/14 over a S475.

I have a 2.6 charger I want to run with a charger I picked up for cheap but I'm not sure if it will work right. It's a holset 3inch with a 26 exhaust housing, I am havin trouble finding out what model it is. Would it work for twins? Sorry never messed with twins either!

26cm housing 3b's are great as a primary. Most ppl say they have a little more up top than a 475.

I got an S475 from turbosupply.net back in Feb. for $552 plus shipping. The part number is 171702. It has a 1.32 AR ratio on the exhaust housing. I couldn't find one anywhere else even close on the price.

hey guys i got a questions. i bought a turbo and im supposed to put a 5" downpipe i do believe. is there anyway i can have a 5" down pipe that goes into a 4" so i can still run my 4" exhaust i have on there now? i just dont have the money to buy a 5" exhaust right now basically what im asking is can i not just use an hx40 downpipe for a 76 mm turbo?

HX40 won't work, different flange, and unless you are running that 76mm as a singe, its in the wrong location as well. You can get a flange made or buy one that turbo, it doesn't have to be 5" ID. Measure the inner diameter of the turbine discharge, it may only be 4" anyway. The S480 I was looking at is 4" ID, but is over 5" on the flange.

I would work the wastegate on the S362 lots or go external gate. As for the S475 and S480, yes they are swapable. The only difference between my S475 and Brett S480 is the compressor discharge attachment and the slightly larger compressor housing on the S480. That will change you cold air tube fit but is a simple adjustment. The S480 is T-06 and same as the S475. Both have 5in turbine outlet. Just watch what you select for turbine housing size. Also FYI there are lots of S480 compressor impeller and turbine blade configurations out there.
