Turbos - Comparing Numbers

Some questions have come up on several threads that got me curious!
I thought it might be educational to compare basic numbers from different turbos....specifically boost levels at 60 mph & 70 mph for each type turbo! We talk a lot about EGT's at WOT...this might say more about street manners.

If interested in contributing....list your
-Altitude above sea level
-Turbo make & model
-Boost Levels at 60; level ground, steady speed and calm wind (it makes a difference).
-Boost Levels at 70 mph; same conditions.
-The other number I find interesting in giving a good comparison of turbos on different truck setups is EGT's when maintaining 30 psi boost. So list that one too if possible!

I'm particularly interested in comparing #'s from stock turbos vs. 35/40 hybrids, HX-40, different B-1's and all the new HTT turbos.

Please report boost levels at empty weight, in OD or top gear.

EXAMPLE: my numbers are,
Altitude - 650'
KSB-1
60 mph = 3 psi
70 mph = 6 psi
EGT's @ 30 psi = 1000*

Previous turbo
KSB1-2
60 mph = 6 psi
70 mph = 8 psi
EGT's @ 30 psi = 1075*

Thanks In Advance...to those who post numbers!

Great thread i hope more people chime in as I am looking to invest in a turbo in the near future and this would help me personally make a good decision.

Hx-35 (stock)

Altitude 4500'

Stock injectors:
Empty EGT 650 - 750 @ 70mph
70 mph boost 10
egt's @35 boost 1250 f

Mach 4 injectors: (had them in less than a week so may not be accurate)
empty egts(w/ comp on 2x5) 600-700 @70mph
70 mph boost 10-11
EGT's @30 boost 1050 f ( comp on 2x5)
Like I said may not be accurate as i have not driven to much with new injectors if I had a good clutch i could tell more with comp on high

altitude=4700'
Turbo=HTBG
Comp 1x5 @ 60mph= 2psi,725*\ 70mph=5psi,825*
Comp 5x5 @ 60mph= 2psi,840*\ 70mph=5psi,800*
The raods here are to wet to try and hold 30 psi and stay on the road.
Ran everything twice to try and be as accurate as possiable.

Thanks for posting.
Is that a 12 cm2 housing on your HTBG?
Depending on your HP, it's hard to hold 30 psi boost for long...I use the interstate and start at 50 mph. Can't hold 30 psi for more than 4-5 sec before it's well over 100 mph.

I think the HTBG has a 14 cm housing.

Engine mods in signature.

Altitude – 0’ (Houston, some areas below sea level)
HTT-HTB2
60 mph = <4 psi
70 mph = 5-6 psi
EGT's @ 30 psi = 950-1000*

At WOT I can get to about 1400-1450* at the end of a 1/4 mile.

HTT Sledpuller 66
At 60 and 70 mph I have 0 boost but I can get boost very quickly by rolling into the throttle with the help of the mad ecm. My altitude is 800-1100 feet. I'll try and see if I can get a reading on EGTs at 30 psi afterwork today. Normal driving EGTS are in the 700 degree range on level ground at 65mph. My wide open egts tend to get a little warm with the drag comp, mach 3s and mad ecm all working together but not high enough to bother me on a dyno or dragrace. I tow with the sledpuller but it isn't as easy as towing with the HTB2 I previously had. I have to shift into 3rd gear on the hills when slowing below 60 mph to keep part throttle EGTs in control.

Sorry, mine was a fairly early one. Came with the 12 cm2 housing and a 62 mm compressor. I think the only option at that time was the 64mm housing, and I was concerned about spool up.
