I was wondering,isnt there a difference in the compressor wheels on the california emession trucks with the HX-35?I heard they have a 54mm. wheel as opposed to a 56mm.Is there going to be much difference in performance in the two?I am in need of a HX-35 and was wondering the differences.I might be able to get one off of one of those trucks but dont know if they are any good.

 

I don't know if the smaller turbo was an emissions difference, but either one is better than the H1C. The 54 mm won't flow any more air at high RPM, but it will still have better flow at low RPM due to the MWE slot. You won't be going backwards with either turbo.

 

I think that 98.5 to 02 24 valvers had 54mm inducers and 94-98 12 valvers had the 56mm's.
