Turbo Help/Advice Needed

OK, for those keeping score, I had a vibration/hum in my truck pop up a couple of weeks ago. The thought was carrier bearing/U-Joint. I was about to start ordering parts when the noise went away... Hmmmm... So tonight I am driving along and hit a particularly steep hill, got into the throttle a bit and the noise started back up, and was worse than before, then I experienced a loss of power! I looked at my gauges and I had 0.0 boost!!! My EGTs were climbing quick. So I got pulled over, popped the hood and found the source of my noise, it was the turbo. It sounds as if the lower impeller (forgive me if my terminology is wrong) was just flopping around in there!!!

I am sure the turbo is toast and it is now time for me to replace it, which also presents the oppostunity for a serious upgrade. So looking at my signature, what would be some good suggestions for me? I drive this truck daily, but I love to "hot rod" around a bit when the mood hits. I plan on continuing to beef it up and keep the HP and Torque numbers climbing. With my current setup I am getting 299/660 to the wheels. I know I need to replace the stock intake, and I will with this change.

I am not opposed to a used setup, providing I can trust that it is going to last me awhile.

Oh, I am all for removing the Rambrake if necessary as I don't tow anything that would need it and I have almost never used it. It was on the truck when I got it....

I would consider somthing to the nature of a HTT 62/12 or 14. The nice thing is that its a very good choice when the future holds twins. If your staying in the range your at now i would consider a 64/14 for good spoolup and good egt control with room to grow! You would loose that exhaust breaks, these are 4inch DP
