my truck is showing the P1693

does any one have any ideas?

 

p1693 is a companion code on the ram truck it is telling you that you have another code in the ecm/pcm ...what is your truck doing??

 

I cant say for sure if there is anything wrong with it, it might be running alitle rough at about 2k rpm and up but its kinda hard to say because of how cold it is here so the truck doent realy get warm

 

Im not sure if 2000 modle year trucks do it but 01 will try and cycle the key 3 time ...on off on off on dont start it and watch the odometer if it does it will show the codes watch for all 1693 is the first one to show you have other codes the 1693 code can be tripped as easy as spinning a tire in the mud. its the others that count
