Need Help again,
Where is the wring harness located for the injector, (#2) I want to check for a bad connection. truck started runing rough today. it has been sitting for a while. I also have another code P-2146 shows as a unknown code.

not sure if I have to pull the valve cover to check ??

 

Wish i could tell you for sure, #2 is a problem child for my truck. Cracked injector body, warranty, 2 injectors were replaced because of solinoids, last time i replaced it was because it was wore or something. Had dealer check when it was running bad, #2 was bad. As far as the code, that code i think stays in my computer, I clear it and keep driving!! I'm sure the wiring harness is the same, but there should be 3 connectors in the lower valve cover, first one would be the #1&2 wires. make sure connection is good, If anything more than that the valve cover will need to be removed, check and make sure the harness has not come in contact with any moving parts...

 

Also I saw in your sig that you have TNT. I have a friend how has TNT, I loaded it into my truck and the outside temperature on the overhead showed hashed marks and the gear position idicator on the dash was blank. Is this normal??

 

No issue with TNT.

 

The drive position indicator goes blank when you enable the No-Torque Management option...
