TST PM3 Comp question

This past weekend I installed a PowerMax3 Comp. w/remote.
The install went smooth with no problems, and no check engine light. With the key ON and the engine not running I get the yellow boost light & red power on light on the box, and on the remote, the yellow boost light....as the instructions say is correct, although they don't mention the remote.
Where I think something may be wrong is this.....while driving the truck at WOT, the green fueling light will appear on the remote, but not on the PowerMax box itself. I have only done this a couple times, and not higher than level 2, since it was suggested to me to drive on the first six levels for about a week at a time to help the IP get used to new fueling levels....also, level 2 will pull my fuel pressure below 5psi, so I need to put my pusher pump on before going to a higher setting.
I was thinking that maybe the green light on the box only comes on at higher power levels? or maybe since the remote is connected the green light will only light up on it?
Any ideas ?

It sounds like your lift pump is failing and you are generating error codes from the ECM that are confusing the PowerMax box signals.

Get a code dump of your OBDII port, and look for a fuel system error or one of the related companion codes. Then fix the underlying cause and your problem will go away.

As far as running a boost pump, I would never attach any fueling enhancement device on a 24 valve without doing the fuel supply fix first.

I have found this information from Blue Chip to be quite accurate: http://www.bluechipdiesel.com/inject...pfailures.html

Anyone else with TST experience? Wouldn't ECM error codes trip the check engine light?
The box does appear to be adding fuel on level one, but it is only indicated with the green fuel light on the remote, and not the green fuel light on the box.

Don't have a comp but my two green lights come on at slightly different times. Don't remember which comes on first but with strong (1/2 or better) throttle, both come on quickly at higher settings...so don't need WOT to test. Difference between the two turning green IS more noticable at lower settings. Suspect you have no problem...just babying it too much. If you have the red & yellow, as per directions, must be right! If you feel it fueling...it must be fueling!

I would wait to solve fueling problem before worrying if you don't want to try a heavier PM3 setting.

lol, you're right RJ I have been babying it, and that WOT was not actually on the floor. What you're talking about must be what's happening imo. Over 200 miles on it now since the install, and all seems well. I still won't push it below 5psi on the fuel pressure though.
Thanks !

Staring at your FP gauge while driving is good practice for what is to come. I'm sure you are aware you will have serious EGT concerns with a stock turbo and that box!

I've been watching the FP constantly. Seeing 11-12 @ idle, 7-8 @ 65mph, and 5 or less with a heavy foot. EGT's I have not seen much over 900* but the truck is empty, and I've been on relatively flat terrain too.
Pusher pump next, then the future says clutch, bigger turbo & EDM's

If I recall properly when I was talking with TST, the light in the remote is an LED so it doesn't show changes in intesity very well, it is either on or off. The lights on the box glow brighter with more boost (yellow) or fueling (green). I suspect that the box light on the low setting is just faintly glowing. It is sometimes difficult to see it in the daylight on low fueling level. The box light will come on before the remote.

Agree with Gman....checked mine and soft green shows first on box. Romote light is either on or off and comes on as Green on Box grows brighter.
If your sure your remote light comes on first...something may be wrong, but I suspect it does not?

I think Gman has nailed it. I suspect the green light is glowing so faint that you simply can't see that critter.

On your fuel pressure side, you'll need to do more than a pusher. At 11PSI idle, your lift pump is currently done for, and needs to be replaced ASAP.
