TST PM3 will give you amazing fueling with the Smarty and it's timing. They have been around for many years with excellent reputation & reliability! The TST PM3 Comp (additional $50.00) fuels even more heavily...but it's hard on the VP-44 because it calls for a bit more fuel than the VP-44 can easily deliver. It fuels harder but cavitates and shudders when you back off a WOT run (on setting 6,7,8 &9). On Comp TST box.... #5 setting is same as #9 on regular PM3 (top setting).

With your HO, the TST Comp probably won't add much, if any, HP.

I believe the Red Line Box is also a fueling only... but not sure. Suppose to be very hot, but I have never even seen one live, so can't comment either way!

is the tst harder on the vp44 than the edge comp? i looked on ebay and i can get the hotter version for 700 bucks. Does that sound about right? or do i need to stick with just the regular tst pm3 and save 50 bucks if its not going to give me any more hp.

anybody got any info in the red line box??

I believe Edge Comp & TST PM3 fuel at same max level for VP-44. I do believe the TST box gets to max more smoothly and holds max fueling at higher level into higher PRM's. I base this feeling on dyno graphs I have seen for both.

E-Bay price for TST is no deal!

That's correct! The TST PM3 does not do timing!

Take RJ's advice. Buy direct from TST! If there is ever any problem with it you will be able to speak directly to the man who designed it!

Also, the Blue Chip Redline box is along the same lines. You can also speak to the man who designed that box if you buy direct from them as well. I spoke to Chip rather extensively when I bought my VP from him. He speaks highly of his Redline box, but he also speaks highly of the TST.

Either way you go I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I like my TST box. The one thing to look at is the TST comp is cheaper the the redline by a lot, and you can get the TST comp to run up to 4 grand if you want. With a tst comp and a stock HO pump you wont see a differance between levels 5 and 9. They all feel the same after level 5 because the pump out of fuel.

Only if you are you talking about stock injectors??? I personally know of an 02 H.O. that is over 550 rwhp with the stock VP-44.

Here's a link claiming 130 for tst comp on a HO. What is the FMS rated at? Looks like you can select up to 62% fueling w/ fms. The link says 60 hp gain going from FMS to redline.

so it lookes like a redline and a smarty is the way to go. but that aint gunna happen. not at no 1500 bucks for a box!

so it may have to be tst comp and smarty. would this be to much to stack with my edge comp? or do i need to take that off?

Remove & sell the Edge Comp.
