Trans cooler relocation questions...

Hey guys, just got my compounds in, but still have to relocate the trans oil cooler down from the side of the engine block. the cylinder that has anti freeze runnin into it too.

My question is, can I mount the cooler up side down??

And if any one has any pics that would be awesome!

I would say just delete it.
But i see you live in a cold climate and probably need it in the winter. It helps with bringing the Trans fluid up to temps quicker.

Come to find out, there are a number of names this thing is called, depending on who's talking about it.

Trans cooler, trans oil cooler, trans oil heater, trans heat exchange.

Over all though, Talked to a guy at a local trans shop and he said it doesnt matter what way its mounted.

So for all those with auto's and wanting to do compounds and need to relocate your trans oil heat exchange, go ahead and mount it up side down. Just FYallI.

I think the correct name is the transmission heat exchanger.
