Well I went to the dealer and found out they wanted $124.00 for theirs...(and they still have it!!) Seems like I found one somewhere for around $80 but I can't remember where. I will try and locate it and reply back.

only down side to the line is that it put the sensor on the outlet side of the tc befor the cooler so you get higher hot temps coming out of the trans. I would put it on the other end, check out my pics of the lines in my sig.

I'm using that line with my Trans Temp gauge because it measures the fluid at its hottest state instead of after it hits the coolers.
I don't consider that a downside.

If you are measuring the temp in the return line you may as well measure it in the pan as it is exactly the same. The stock sender is in the output to the cooler for good reason.
DTT has a good price on the output line with port http://www.dieseltrans.com/dodge/tra...components.htm

I just called DTT today they said go to the dealer and didnt mention that they sell it.
Is my front 4x4 drive shaft goina hit that sending unit with that 96 line? Looks like the sending unit mounts right above the drive shaft. Do all the 96 , temp port lines have that rubber hose section?

It's pretty much snug up against the front of the pan.
Mine leaked and put a nice coat of tranny fluid on the front driveshaft though.
Took the probe fitting apart and scraped out all the teflon tape, then put it back together with RTV, and no leaks.
