Ever since having these installed, the transmission has been wierd. It started almost right away with slow speed shifting problems, like it cannot figure out if it wants to be in first or second gear (really bad in bumper to bumper traffic at 10-15 mph).
The check engine light came on and my trans specialist replaced a switch (also said it looked great inside, no metal etc) and it didnt help. It is now back with him - sometimes it just wont shift into third, even when I pull off the throttle for several seconds.
The original problem is still there too. He says there are no codes thrown and as you might guess, he cannot get it to act up on him
So, I will go see him tomorrow - I can make it act up. Anyone with any similar problems? Truck sure runs great except for this!

 

have you checked the TV cable adjustment?

 

Thanks for the suggestion - I will pass it on to him. At this point he has just been driving it to try and experience the problem for himself, unsuccessfully...

 

Try cleaning the grounds on the batteries and i think there is one for the pcm or its located close to it. This has seemed to fix alot of shifting problems.
