How can you tell the horsepower rating of a plate by visual inspection? I bought a plate on ebay and it was advertised to be 100 hp and I saw a different one listed by another person and they said it was 65 hp..

 

Who made it???? TST from what I have seen stamps the plate number on top...

Best bet is to post a picture here and see if anyone recognizes it.

 

The plates vary in additional HP depending on which pump (160, 175,180,215hp) it is installed in.

 

Best to post a picture, mainly now the plates provide variable profiles for different applications, any moreso the 10 can be used in any pump and have just as good if not better (depending on opinions, placement and dyno results) than what the advertised results are supposed to be.

 

As for a picture I dont have one, but I can tell you it has two bumps on it one in the middle and one at the bottom they measure about .25" if I remember correctly. You know to excited to get it running than to notice details. It came from PDI performance and their web site seems to be down..
