Time To Bomb!
hi everyone, ok so i plan on bombing my truck a little around the first weekend of november. while the parts are on order from TST i will have the pump timming set around 15-16, and the valves adjusted.
Bomb list
1.KDP tab kit (i cant take the stress any longer)
2.#10 fuel plate kit
3.3K GSK kit
4.AFC spring kit
5.delivery valves
is this a good set up for pulling my trailer(10,000)?
do i need bigger injectors? are 370 marine injectors to big?
how about turbo housing/bigger turbo to keep EGTs down?
the truck is used for vacations and trips to the desert with some in town driving so reliability is of most concern also looking to get some better MPGs.
thanks Mark

I'm guessing you have an auto from the trans guage in your signature. The first 3 of your mods will be fine on your tranny. EGT's won't be an issue. With bigger DV's, you stand a really good chance of cooking your torque converter. AFC springs are mostly for smoke control.
sorry berner i forgot to add, the tranny was just re done with added clutch packs, valve body, shift kit, raised pressure and hughes tow master triple lock converter. time to make some POWER!
You have plenty there to pull that trailer. At one time all I had was the plate and I could outpull anybody. Now with all the other stuff its not even a contest. I would certainly keep an eye on the egt's though. Not saying that they will run high, but just keep an eye on it. If they start creeping up just back off the throttle. If they creep up on you a lot, then you could look into getting a different turbo. I would also recommend getting a BHAF, I think this is one of the most undrated mods on my truck. When I added it, it made the fuel plate really come to life.
BHAF,outerwear, heatshield sitting in garage waiting to go on with the rest of the upgrades, sorry i left alot out of my original post. i will perform all of the upgrades listed above myself(except the timming) what is the deal with the templet included with the torque plate(drilling new holes/bigger ones)?
can i run the 370 marine injectors with all of the above? also any thing i should prepare myself for on mods1-5? thanks guys, any and all advice would be great.

Sounds like the List of mods that I am doing, Let us know how it works out.
Also Cummins66, how do you like that Propane, I am looking at it just for the fuel economy point of view, does it really save alot?
Thanks

edgrim, i had the entire tranny rebuilt by DRW specialties. i have 3 pages of work and parts performed on the rebuild including the above parts listed. all i can say is it fells like a new truck with a 25-30% increase in power to the ground. the hughes converter was more $$$ than most out there. i cant complain because i bought a 25000 mile extended warranty from the dealer when i purchased the truck, with 92000 miles already on it. tranny went out at 104000. 1000 for dealer warranty and 1000 out of pocket above what they were willing to cover
keep it cumming

Before looking into bigger injectors etc., you may want to get your current list done. It will be a tremendous differance!! Then start shopping again if you want more power. If you do 370's and a turbo upgrade should be a good step.
