Is There a Way To Tell If A VP Has Been Changed??

Or is still the stock original VP-44? This truck had the dealer fix for the lift pump problem and had the pump in the tank solution. I was wondering if this was done before there were any VP problems or after replacing the VP. Any way to tell?? Thanks you guys!!

If the dealer did the intank, they may have also done a VP, any dealer should be able to run your vin and see if it was replaced by a dealer. If it was replaced somewhere other then a dealership, you probably will not be able to find out.

Also, reman pumps are painted black. The one my dealer put in under warranty was painted black.
