Stacks question
Stacks question
The Silverline, MBRP, and Big Rock stack kits. Do they come with everything from the turbo back and a muffler, or just the stacks, splitting pipe, and the pipe with the flexing pipe/hose?
Grand Rock kits.. Starts under the bed with 1ft of flex and everything you need in the bed. Includes all clamps, Brackets and stacks. Does not include downpipe or muffler if you still have stock 3" you can run a 3" to 4" adapter.
On this topic ... hopefully not a thread *******.
powder coat vs teflon ?
I've seen both and they both look great. but i've heard that powdercoat is only good for ~ 350 degrees. Wondering if anyone has personal experience with either on exhaust, specifically stacks ?

Powdercoat won't hold up... I tried a powdercoated cross box on a buddies truck, lasted about 3 hrs. Teflon is good to about 700* in most applications, but be careful because all Teflon is not created equal, some will soften up real quick around 400*, others will go past 1000*.
