Im removing my tool box and replacing it with a piece of black checkerplate then I'm running 5" miters. I have a bed cover. How hot will it get under there and do I need to look at someway of cycling the air in there to keep it cool.

 

I have seen it done but I would think it would get pretty hot.

 

I hacked up my cover and put it back on. I haven't really checked to see how hot it's getting, but nothing has started on fire so far.
