Re:Theft Protection (Fuel Pump or Starter Kill Switch)

I have a cheap-o kill switch in mine. Not totally sure if it grounds the starter or what since the previous owner put it in. But it does work as some low life cracked the beer window and ripped out the steering colum. Couldn't start it and left without taking anything.

I don't know what is worse, truck gone or damaged and having to deal with insurance.

Hey Bull Dog (nice looking dog!) Yea your right, he cant sit there 24/7 but its the best thing I got going. I would have to say that Lojack is great but I would still rather the vehicle not be stollen at all. I might not want it after they find it! Maybe the sticker alone would probably stop a thief stealing for money but a joy rider probably woudnt care. A good thing would be the tire locks police use to stop you from driving your car after the install them on your tire. Visibility and function but bulky.

Jamie has the best theft protection going on his rig. Drop the air outa the air bags and lay the truck on the frame. They'll never get it

Re:Theft Protection (Fuel Pump or Starter Kill Switch)

I just put on an awesome Dodge Diesel Immobilizer switch. Even if you have the key it will not start. It cuts out the fuel pumps along with the power to the key at the same time. It puts a LED in the overhead display to see it is on, The on switch uses the door lock/push switch in the cab your choice. The off switch is very unique. The best part of the whole thing. But I cannot tell you about it unless you get one yourself it is top secret OF

Hey Overfueled, where did you get that Immobilizer? I would like to get one but I really dont feel like making one. I can hardly find the time to do the things around the house that I'm supposed to be doing.
