I am adapting an in tank '98 Carter/CarQuest pump into my '93. What is the stock fuel pressure for these units? This will be pumping to a small bore piston lift pump with a low pressure spring, then on to the VE injection pump.

No numbers on the pump ? If there were, you can simply go to carter's website and check out the specs.

If you read the reviews on the assembly on Amazon's website, it says FP was at 14PSI at low idle, but then that's a "review" and not from a spec. sheet.

Since '98 is the year they offered both motors depending on which part of the year... 12V or 24V.
You might get either pumps preferred fuel pressure. The P-pump likes higher pressure [around 30 psi] than the VE front pump seal will tolerate.
The 24V, VP44 powered '98-'02 trucks I have owned I have safely fed 20 PSI to for years. Which is also at the high end of what the VE pump will take.

If it was me I would not trust the info. on the internet, but check it myself with a fuel pressure gauge.

The other thing to think about is a pump, pumping to another pump tends to up the final pressure higher than either pump would run by itself.
Best to check the pressure after both pumps, if that is how you are going to run the truck.
