12v ve pump swap ??-help needed
im putting a ve pumped 12v in an 01. this is the second truck ive done.the first was a 2000 w/ the lift pump on the block. it had a fass installed so i left it hooked up to push fuel to the ve. worked great. this 01 has an in tank lift pump. can i use it supply fuel to the ve and not run the mechanical pump? does it push fuel constantly? how much fuel pressure? i would like to use the in tank pump for supply. if this wont work do i need to remove the in tank pump so the mechanical pump doesnt have to pull through it? help appreciated.thanks

If you leave it as it is, it will work the same as the electric lift pump on the side of the motor.
If you decide not to use the in-tank pump, you'll need to remove it from the tank.

I think you;ll need to use an aftermarket pump like the FASS to supply the pressure needed for the VE. The intank pump is going to be pushing only a few pounds. Check the pressure requirements on the VE.
