I ran one for a while...kinda old technology, lots better out there. If you want a 70hp increase....I'll sell you a XZT+ from Quadzilla that you will be way happier with. It is brand new, has 3 position toggle switch, usb updateable, better fuel mileage & way smoother power than Superchips.

Purchased mine w/the superchip. The acceleration is that of a gasser x 2. The seller did not have the module so I can't compare it w/out the program (nor can the owner use the programmer again because it's locked w/my VIN#). Not having exp any other programmers out of the box this chip seems great, no problems at all. I do tow a 5-6klb boat weekly (apr-oct) and have had great results. Schips states the program adds fuel and timing. WOT, I do see a small amt of smoke, so now I'm looking into adding injectors, just not sure which ones yet. From what I understand, w/out taping the pump wire all comparable modules will add roughly the same HP. Someone chime in if this is not correct. Good luck. J.

I put one on my moms 3rd gen and my dads 3rd gen and they both made an amazing difference. My mom pulls a 38' aluminum horse trailer almost every weekend and she couldnt be more pleased. My dad had an 04.5 4x4 3500 single wheel and we screwed his up hauling hay. We came to a hill doing 65 mph with a load of 14-2000 pound round bales and were doing about 105 when we got to the top of the hill. we wanted to see what she would do! It started blowin oil everywhere. I drive my moms truck all the time and I love the power that hers has gained with the programmer. So yes, they make a big difference in performance but know your limits.

I have one. It does well for me. If I were to do it over again I think I would go with the Smarty.

guess it all depends what your future plans are and what you use the truck for on a daily basis

Their new Firefly thing looks neet with that combination boost/egt gauge, and you just touch the face of the gauge to change power levels. Don't know if they have them for 24v yet or not. I'm assuming its the same as a Edge EZ (MSD owns both of them now I think).
