Stock Clutch & SMARTY ? OK ???
Stock Clutch & SMARTY ? OK ???
2002 HO with a 6sp: Running a 3K Truck camper If I install a Smarty for low end power, will I have problems with a stock clutch ( 60K Miles total, Clutch feels good ).?
I have had no problems with mine. Even when I crank the TST up a couple it holds, but I ease into the throttle. I bought the truck in July, so it very well could be an aftermarket clutch. You won't be disappointed with the Smarty, it won't really overpower your clutch in the mid and high range, but the low end will be much improved.
Should be fine
I slipped mine on level 7 pulling my trailer empty (2500#), but I've got bigger sticks than stock. If I would have taken my foot out of it, or down shifted, I would have been fine.

All depends mine was fine until I was 29,000 GVW and got to hard on it with my comp (set on EZ) turned up to 5x5, it slipped a little. But other than that I think you should be okay.. This clutch has 125000 miles on it and the guy before me had an Edge EZ, and did a lot of towing with it... Depends on your right foot
