stock clutch and smarty

stock clutch and smarty

i was thinking about getting a smarty and stacking it with my comp. will my stock clutch be able to handle it......and would my EGT's be out rageous.......?

Your clutches will hold if you keep your foot off the skinny pedal. Step on it hard enough and its gonna slip. It also depends on what stage you have the smarty on. I would suggest getting clutches ,either south bend or valair.

I say no not for long. smarty and rv275s and heavy foot got mine. Bottom end fueling on the smarty is whats so hard on it.

Low rpm and lots of throttle equals blowing off the clutch on mine. That's empty on SW1. I'm trying to limp my OE clutch along by rolling into it easier. Saving for a SB clutch or a tank of fuel. Not sure which will cost more.

2002 Ram 2500, SB, SLT, 4x4, HO, 6spd, smarty, gauges, 285's, 410's LSD,

Tonight, I just programmed mine at level #3. If I roll my take-offs, the tranny should be ok? And, what about the injectors? Will the stock injectors take level #3?

Since the CaTCHER doesn't kick in until level #4, I'm wondering if all will be ok by using easy starts?

Injectors are fine for any level the Smarty can dish out...

the non-Catcher softwares will be easier on drivetrain parts.
