Personally I would like to build a box under the rear seat to fit 4 Kicker 8L7's. Driven by a good 1000w amp they should make some nice bass. A lot of people under rate 8's but I kinda like the nice tight sound from them. I guess I prefer sound quality over noise. 8L7's only need .33 ft3 so it should be doable for space.

Thanks for the link James
I'm going to go w/ the 500/1 amp. He is about 80 bucks cheaper than my local shop shipping included.

Drop me a pm when you get your stuff put in would ya? I wanna make sure your stuff works and sounds good before I buy the amp from him.

Thanks again,
Scott

Whatever you do, dont skimp on it. Buy quality stuff. I believe you pay for what you get in the car audio world.

from my own experience I recommend:

Headunit: Eclipse (Great Customer service, and warranty)
Amps: Rockford Fosgate ( Lots of real power. They stand behind their products.)
Speakers: Polk makes excellent small air space spkrs. (good for our trucks, not much space to give up)

try crutchfield.com this is where I bought all my gear. sometimes they have good deals on year model closeouts, and free shipping.

ROCKS!!!!!

The components are all installed and it flat out rocks. The music quality is impeccable. The system in my 04 (JLAudio) is far better sounding than my system in the 01 even though the 01 has an Alpine Head unit and the 04 has the stock head unit. I can only imagine what it will sound like with a different head unit but I would have to give up my "lifetime" subscription to Sirius that I got with the truck. (Dodge Promo).

The 01 has Alpine with Xm, Rockford Fosgate and Lanzar amps, Infinity speakers, and Rockford Fosgate subs. The 04 sounds so much better!!!
