well i had my stainless stack for 6 months then got it covered in plastic bags and other objects that are attracted to hot shinny metal, i ground it smooth and painted it black. short story they are a pain to keep clean if you use your bed imo

no upkeep req'd...

I don't know what kind of stacks those guys had to make them say that. I've had mine going on 2 yrs now and all I do is spray "Simple Green 50/50%" on the soot that collects around the tip and wash them with a terry cloth hand towel that I use to wash to whole truck with. Nothing to do but use soapy water and rinse good. Never sand, polish, or scrap them... just wash with the truck.

They look just like they did 2 yrs ago when I built & installed them.

well im gonna be putting them on shortly i hope as soon as i get my down pipe. ill post pics when i do if i can figure out how
