which spray in liner?
Re:which spray in liner?
Stay away from the Permatech. I have it in my truck. It chips VERY easily and if you spill any kind of chemical on it, it fades in that spot. The only good thing I can say for it is Ive had it nearly a year and it hasn't faded at all(where I didnt spill) If I had to do it again I'd probably get a Line-X. Rhino fades too quickly for my taste.
Re:which spray in liner?
when you say "chip" what exactly do you mean?
something gouging it and it peels or it just flakes with some friction... more info, please
What chemicals faded it? I see their web site says resistant to "most chemicals"
If Rhino didn't fade so quickly I'd be going that route...
may just go with LineX, don't like the local Arma dealer

It scratches with sharp edges. Normal friction didnt bother it. The biggest fade spot is from battery acid. some others from oil and gas and various heavy duty cleansing agents.

Re:which spray in liner?
I do Scorpion brand spray in liners at my shop, have looked at them all. The line x probably has the best appearance texture but is harder surface than most. Also on the majority of spray in liners you can only get certain colors and the majority of them will fade over time. I have a red liner in my truck that's over 4 years old and still retains the original color, mostly because on the Scorpion and Speedliner brands you tint with automotive tints to acheive your colors. I can custom match the color of trucks so that the liner is barely noticeable with my system. As far as materials, they are all pretty much the same and there are several different methods of application for them. The reason for any bedliner failure is all in the prep work as most of these shops bought the spray in business as an add on and know nothing about the prep work involved for proper adhesion. Be sure to check the shop out and look at some of their work before spending, becuase once it's screwed up it's hard to straighten out. good luck
