Spending way too much money!
But then again, we love our trucks eh?!
After replacing in the last 2 weeks:
Rotors, Calipers, Pads, Both Batteries, Alternator, 4 New tires
Its time for an exhaust......... (holes in the stock one - Yaaaaaaa!)
Can someone tell me, because I'm just "ok" with monkey wrenching,
Is it very difficult to put on a system, turbo back?
I think I can get a good deal on a new MBRP 4" system for my '99.
Is this just a bolt on? Do I need special tools?
Any thoughts??
Thanks

i have tried it myself and have had several installed, hands down i vote to take it to a good muffler shop and buy aluminized pipe 4 or 5 inch from them and let them do it, you be out in less than a hour without any aggrevation
MBRP is an easy install. Everything fit great on my truck. You'll need a sawzall to get the old one out, and to cut the intermediate piece to length. If you had a ext. cab, long box, it would be a bolt together operation.
turbo back was one of the easiest installs I have done. I just used stock clamps and cut off about 12" with a sawsall due to short box rig. Trust me, if you can put front rotors on a "99" you can handle the exhaust.

My advice is pre-assemble the system outside of the truck on the ground to make sure all of the connections are open far enough. I had to take some of my system back out and open the ends a little.
